Consultancy - Bioinformatics

KeyGene provides bioinformatics consultancy to those clients that require assistance in defining their bioinformatics requirements.

The areas of consultancy in which we are active are: bio-detection, bio-interpretation, bio-mining, and bio-infrastructure management.

An example of such consultancy work is KeyGene Bioinformatics’ contribution to the Food Valley project in which in collaboration with the information technology company Vertis, a datawarehouse for the Agrotechnology and Food department of Wageningen University and Research Centre was developed. KeyGene Bioinformatics has also advised the Plant Breeding department of Wageningen University and Research Centre on a pooling and physical mapping strategy within the context of a KeyMaps project.
