Using machine learning, the present invention makes most effectively use of such tremendous amounts of data in assisting breeders for instance in selecting the right parents for creating a new breeding population.

Breeding new plant varieties is a cumbersome and time consuming process that is highly dependent on the selection of the right breeding parents. The present technology makes sure all information available is used in the most effective way to aid in decision making.
